Waxwings come to Britain in winter from Scandinavia, and some often stop off in The Drive in Reydon to feast on the berries of the Rowan trees that are found there. They were there last week, but only stay until the food remains, and so as they had scoffed the lot, they have moved on. If you missed them, here are a couple of photographs of these beautiful birds taken by John Everson. Thanks to John for sharing his photographs.
