It was wonderful to welcome back the Reydon Show after two years off due to the pandemic. There were lots of entries at the show across all the categories – although the heatwave put pay to a lot of the fruit, vegetable, and flower entries – sadly they either bloomed too soon or shrivelled up and never came at all!
The categories that were less weather dependent proliferated though and it was amazing to see all the baked goods, art, photography and handicrafts.
The children’s art was delightful and it was nice to see all the creativity – including a papier-mâché whale! So when you are planning you 2023 planting or embarking on some arts and crafts remember the first Saturday in August will be the Reydon Show next year.
